About the Role
This role is responsible for various warehouse functions, including material handling, inventory management, and shipment scheduling, ensuring accuracy and compliance with operational procedures and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials using proper methods and procedures for securing materials.
- Cover Warehouse Supervisor responsibilities as needed during supervisor absence.
- Utilize basic computer skills for warehouse functions, including Microsoft Office.
- Complete NAV entries for receiving and inventory reconciliations with accounting.
- Complete general template readings and distributions as requested.
- Schedule shipments via UPS/FedEx and other online platforms.
- Drive box tuck to pick up material from offsite warehouse.
- Receive, select, and prepare materials for relocation to end users.
- Ensure accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation, receiving incoming material and routing to appropriate area or personnel, filling work orders, packaging assemblies, and receiving into finished goods.
- Ensure inventory transactions are accurately logged and oversee cycle counts and reconciliation activities.
- Receive returned material, inspect for condition, and stock or return to supplier as appropriate.
- Assist in maintaining inventory records, recording warehouse transactions, verifying billing and inventory reports.
- Check incoming materials against orders and stock materials in appropriate space.
- Maintain warehouse locations according to operational procedures.
- Follow established operational procedures, process orders including accurately selecting, performing quality control checks, sorting, consolidating freight, packing and packaging, loading and preparing orders for shipment.
- Cross-train in multiple areas of the warehouse/production and/or participate in projects as requested or required.
- Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks, maintaining a clean work environment and complying with all environment and safety procedures.
- Communicate all delays or variances in inbound/outbound freight to the appropriate parties.
- Maintain compliance with SOPs, GMPs, and all company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
