About the Role

The Sales Representative is accountable for executing Lactalis sales strategy at retail to drive profitable revenue growth for the organization. This role involves managing retail business relationships and generating new business in alignment with Lactalis objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Create product demand and assist customers through merchandising, display techniques, and inventory management.
  • Secure and execute promotional plans aligned with corporate and banner needs.
  • Execute store coverage model consistent with field sales process to satisfy customer needs and drive sales.
  • Achieve distribution on authorized listings and secure secondary displays by working with store personnel.
  • Actively build sales by prospecting for new business and capitalizing on opportunities within existing locations.
  • Develop specific sales plans for each Division by customer with S.M.A.R.T. objectives.
  • Perform administrative duties including Business review reports, Delante budget reports, and summary of display/distribution objectives.
  • Monitor and provide competitive market activity to the Area Sales Manager.
  • Deliver positive results for specific KPI’s and utilize communication platforms to communicate with the Regional leadership team and peer group.

Requirements

  • Robust analytical, planning, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • A positive attitude and high level of curiosity.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the grocery industry and retail marketplace.
  • Proficient with standard office computer technology such as Microsoft Office products, Nielsen syndicated data and SAP.
  • Ability to self-motivate, work independently, and function effectively within a team.

Salary/Compensations

  • $62,500.00–$78,100.00
