About the Role

Health Research, Inc. is seeking an Administrative Aide to provide comprehensive administrative support within the fast-paced, dynamic Division of Epidemiology. This role involves supporting management and staff, interacting with various internal and external health partners on critical public health issues, and ensuring efficient office operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with coordinating and maintaining complex schedules with competing priorities.
  • Schedule meetings and conferences, arranging for appropriate space or webinars.
  • Make travel arrangements and prepare travel expense reports.
  • Assist with routing and tracking of numerous assignments, documents, and emails.
  • Answer and triage calls.
  • Review and handle incoming Executive Deputy Commissioner Clearance (EDCC) correspondence by gathering information to coordinate responses.
  • Maintain required information in office tracking systems.
  • Resolve routine, administrative day-to-day problems impacting office operations.
  • Maintain electronic and paper filing systems.
  • Assist with maintaining and improving office procedures to support efficient operations.
  • Compile and prepare a variety of reports and other documents as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and one year of general office, secretarial, or administrative experience; OR three years of such experience.
  • Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location.
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts prior to hire.

Salary/Compensations

  • $52,979.00 Annually
  • $4,000 annual downstate adjustment (pro-rated for part-time positions)
