About the Role
Cleveland Clinic London is seeking a Senior I Rotational Mammographer to join their Imaging team. This role involves working within a team to provide the highest standard of service to patients, consultants, and visitors, adhering to the standards set by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Responsibilities
- Monitors, evaluates, and reports on departmental operations.
- Acts as a liaison internally and externally.
- Utilizes and understands Picture Archiving and Communication (PACS), Computed Radiography (CR), and Digital Radiography (DR) systems.
- Assists and participates in interventional breast procedures, including ultrasound, stereotactic, and vacuum-assisted biopsies.
- Reviews images and collaborates with Consultant Radiologists to determine the need for supplementary imaging procedures.
- Troubleshoots equipment faults and makes arrangements for service continuity during equipment failure.
Requirements
- Current valid Healthcare Professional Council (HCPC) registration.
- Relevant post-graduate experience with a post DCR in Mammography obtained in the UK from an HCPC-recognised institute.
- Highly developed specialist Diagnostic Radiology knowledge, supported by theory and experience.
- Knowledge of imaging procedures, associated risks/benefits, and safety precautions.
- This role may be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
