About the Role

Institutional Client Group (ICG) provides sales, distribution, and market coverage across Global Emerging Markets, delivering macro solutions and market insight to institutional investors globally. You will be responsible for covering a portfolio of institutional clients across Emerging Markets Rates and Foreign Exchange (FX) products, driving revenue growth, identifying new business opportunities, and strengthening senior-level client relationships. The role requires close partnership with Trading, Research, and Structuring teams to deliver differentiated market views, liquidity, and trade ideas to clients. You will play a key role in expanding Deutsche Bank's Emerging Markets (EM) franchise by growing wallet share, developing new client relationships, and helping clients navigate evolving macroeconomic, geopolitical, and market developments across emerging markets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand relationships with institutional investors across the Global Emerging Markets client base.
  • Drive revenue generation across Emerging Markets Rates and FX products.
  • Generate and communicate actionable macro trade ideas across EM markets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and increase wallet share within existing client relationships.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of macroeconomic developments, central bank policy, political events, and market trends impacting emerging markets.
  • Partner closely with Trading, Research, and Structuring teams to originate and execute client opportunities.
  • Contribute to strategic business planning, client prioritization, and revenue growth initiatives.
  • Support expansion into new markets, geographies, and investor segments.
  • Represent Deutsche Bank at a senior level with clients and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • FINRA Series 7, SIE, and Series 63 licenses (or ability to obtain within required timeframe).
  • Experience in Fixed Income, Rates, FX, Macro Sales, Trading, or Capital Markets.
  • Strong client relationship management and business development skills.
  • Strong understanding of global macroeconomic and market dynamics.
  • Ability to communicate market views and investment ideas effectively to institutional investors.
  • Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial mindset.
  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimize workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
