About the Role
Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for an Associate in the Corporate Practice of our San Francisco office. The Associate will have the opportunity to work with clients, large and small, from a variety of industries across the country.
Responsibilities
- Drafting primary deal documents
- Leading complex diligence
- Deal management (including managing junior associates and internal specialist teams)
- Client interaction
- Work product oversight
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of corporate transactional experience at a leading law firm
- Strong emphasis on private equity investments and divestitures
- Experience with portfolio company transactions
- Experience with general corporate fiduciary duties and governance
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent communication and drafting skills
- Team-oriented
- Capable of independently taking on responsibility
- Good standing with the CA State Bar
