About the Role
Under close supervision, this position will assist customers by providing transportation and logistics services.
Responsibilities
- Gain exposure and understanding of basic transportation management principles.
- Participate in daily operational tasks including freight planning, asset utilization, safety management, DOT compliance, driver payroll, Customer Value Delivery, logistics management/analysis, driver supervision, profit-and-loss management, and maintenance coordination.
- Gain understanding of industry trends and company initiatives related to driver retention.
- Perform pertinent account-specific duties as required by customer.
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in good standing at an accredited institution.
- Must be able to work 20-25 hours per week during the school semester.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and shifting priorities and directives.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
- This position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship.
