About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct testing at the part, assembly, or unit level.
  • Perform combined temperature and electrodynamic vibration tests.
  • Execute rapid transition rates and profile execution for extended test durations.
  • Conduct "Shake and Bake" and Altitude tests.
  • Perform Thermal Vacuum (TVAC) testing.
  • Operate dedicated environmental test chambers with advanced equipment.
  • Place products on vibration tables for X, Y, Z axis testing.
  • Monitor temperature changes in environmental test chambers based on product profiles.
  • Apply other stimuli to identify product defects.
  • Test products, record successful tests, and document failures for troubleshooting.
  • Perform electro-mechanical set-up using cables, connectors, and test equipment.
  • Adjust and modify machine profiles to meet specifications.
  • Run Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) and Standard Test Equipment (STE).
  • Follow written specifications or operation sheets for assigned tasks.
  • Ensure each process step is completed correctly and the product meets quality specifications.
  • Provide training and mentoring to other employees.
  • Utilize written or visual instructions, including quantitative information from specifications, graphs, pictures, and documentation.
  • Perform duties using a variety of small hand tools and production equipment.
  • Provide written and/or oral communications.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly workstation, tools, and equipment.
  • Comply with all company safety rules and regulations.
  • Engage and participate in a self-directed teaming environment.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.
  • Requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
  • Employment contingent upon the ability to prove U.S. Person status (U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, asylee, or refugee).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Offer of employment conditioned upon successful completion of a drug screen.
  • May be subject to random and reasonable-suspicion drug and alcohol testing.

Skills

  • Able to work with hand, pneumatic, and electric hand tools.
  • Use precision measuring instruments and complex test equipment.
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills.
  • Interpret specifications and drawings.
  • Perform in-process inspections.
  • Dexterity skills.
  • Good hand and eye coordination.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Past experience in a manufacturing environment (Desired).
  • Past experience in a self-directed teaming environment (Desired).
  • Lean manufacturing knowledge (Desired).
