About the Role

Horizon Forest Products is seeking a qualified and dependable individual to join their delivery team. This role involves loading, transporting, and unloading goods to customer locations, ensuring safe and professional customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre-trip truck inspections and report any issues to the Ops Manager.
• Unload orders at customer sites according to their needs and HFP safety protocols, including hand loading.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Safely lift and carry up to 100 pounds repetitively.
• Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.
• Maintain current driver and forklift certifications and follow all HFP safety protocols.
• Return paperwork, including payments, to the Ops Manager.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Maintain logbooks and other documentation as required by the DOT and HFP.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Ops Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean driving record.
• DOT medical certification.
• Must be professional and courteous when interacting with customers.
• Must always drive safely.
