About the Role
Inspire11 is a modern business and technology consulting firm seeking a Quality Engineer to build and maintain automated tests within application stacks for clients across Agile squads. This role offers a platform to transform the future, working alongside elite consultants who challenge you to expand your skills and think creatively. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automated tests at various levels within application stacks for clients across Agile squads
- Learn and apply automation architectures, methodologies, coding standards, and best practices through code reviews and peer collaboration
- Partner with development teams to adopt test best practices from the SDET community
- Execute and maintain automated test cases in the CI/CD pipeline
- Produce reports on KPIs of testing results, logging, and coverage
- Collaborate with Agile teams to develop testing plans covering all business functionalities
- Support release activities and contribute to release readiness validation
- Work seamlessly with offshore teams to complete testing requirements collaboratively
- Support quality engineering and automated testing efforts for AI, LLM, and GenAI-enabled applications and workflows
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus 2–4 years of experience writing automated tests at the unit, integration, and system levels
- Demonstrated growth in QE skills and increasing ownership of test automation tasks
- Solid understanding of software quality assurance principles and practices
- Experience participating in the Software Test Life Cycle (STLC), including test planning, test case design, and execution in an Agile environment
- Familiarity with TDD, continuous integration and delivery, and code review practices
- Hands-on experience writing integration tests using Postman or a similar tool/library
- Hands-on experience writing unit tests using JUnit/TestNG, Chai, Mocha, Mockito, or a similar mocking framework
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services and Docker
- Experience incorporating automated tests into a CI/CD pipeline
- Exposure to or interest in writing integration test suites against APIs
- Experience or exposure to testing AI/LLM/GenAI applications, including APIs, model outputs, prompt-driven workflows, or AI-enabled product features
- Familiarity with testing concepts specific to GenAI solutions, such as response quality, reliability, accuracy, and regression testing, is a plus
- Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM/Kanban
- Experience collaborating with distributed or offshore teams is a plus
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. at the time of application and throughout the duration of employment
- This role requires the willingness and ability to be onsite at the Inspire11 or client location depending on project needs
