About the Role

Gain knowledge and work experience in a large-scale farming operation, with specific responsibilities pertaining to preventative maintenance and service needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing maintenance and repairs on Summit equipment, including on-road passenger vehicles and tractors.
• Perform tire repairs and replacement.
• Perform detailing on vehicles.
• Perform oil changes on vehicles.
• Troubleshoot and repair various mechanical issues.
• Perform various metal fabrication duties, with preferred welding experience.
• Assist with special projects and minor construction.
• Cross train in other operational departments.
• Operate equipment such as tractors, grain carts, skid loaders, forklifts, and field cultivators, as needed.
• Deliver final presentation to Summit's management team.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial environment.
• High level of interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently.
