Responsibilities
- Build, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on sheet metal, draw, progressive, transfer, piercing, and forming dies.
- Work with high-speed stamping dies with minimal supervision.
- Troubleshoot and repair dies in the press and/or at the bench.
- Report unusual conditions or problems to the supervisor.
- Study specifications and engineering blueprints.
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of tool and die work experience required.
- Experience with compound progressive tools is mandatory.
