About the Role

Bring your legal or financial expertise into a commercial advisory role, working on a variety of M&A transactions across the Pacific region. This role is part of Aon's Mergers & Acquisitions and Transaction Solutions (AMATS) business model, seeking a commercially minded professional passionate about helping clients manage transactional risk and navigate complex M&A situations.

Responsibilities

• Advising, broking, and delivering Transaction Solutions products (W&I, Tax, Contingency and related insurances) on M&A transactions and other client situations.
• Engaging with and managing relationships across the AMATS ecosystem, including external distribution channels (lawyers, investment banks, accounting firms, private equity firms, fund managers) and internal channels (Aon Client Leaders, Solution Line colleagues).
• Attending external client meetings across the Pacific region and participating in industry seminars to build relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Managing revenue reporting in Aon Connect and supporting management reporting and data collection.
• Preparing Aon content and marketing materials, collating data, and other collateral for business development activities and transaction-specific opportunities.
• Developing Aon IQ knowledge of the AMATS client value proposition and presenting on broader solutions and services.
• Performing other functions and tasks that support the growth and development of AMATS.

Requirements

• Degree-qualified in Law, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• Experience in M&A, corporate transactions, advisory, legal, or financial services environments.
• Track record of building senior client relationships and driving business development.
• Collaborative approach to working across local and regional teams.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance across Pacific markets.

Skills

• Expertise in M&A solutions, including W&I, Tax & Contingency Insurance solutions advisory and risk/insurance products.
• Exceptional communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
