About the Role

Aon Reinsurance Solutions is seeking a motivated individual to join its leading Tokyo treaty reinsurance team, serving Japanese clients. The primary role involves collaborating with team members in Tokyo and London to provide comprehensive services to Japanese non-life insurance companies and mutual aid cooperatives, working alongside analytical and facultative reinsurance departments, as well as international offices.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive services to clients, coordinating with various departments including analytics and facultative reinsurance, with a focus on treaty reinsurance.
Build strong client relationships, understand their needs, and propose suitable reinsurance contracts based on analysis of necessary information.
Develop relationships with reinsurers worldwide to understand their business and underwriting strategies, supporting clients in achieving optimal reinsurance programs.
Foster broad relationships with clients.

Requirements

Native or fluent Japanese proficiency.
Business-level English proficiency.
Underwriting or corporate sales experience in the (re)insurance industry is preferred.
Ability to organize various challenges professionally and solve problems through teamwork with leadership.
High self-learning ability and independence in capability development.
Basic data processing, numerical handling, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills, both internally (domestic/international) and externally (clients/reinsurers).
Teamwork and networking skills and aptitude.
