About the Role
Swissport is a global leader in aviation services, providing Ground Handling, Cargo Handling, and Passenger Services. The Cargo Agent organizes warehouse facilities, handles air cargo, and ensures compliance with safety and operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Load/unload air cargo from/to trucks
- Prepare and palletize cargo as needed
- Ensure paperwork related to the cargo is correct
- Assure proper handling and delivery of cargo and operation of related equipment
- Follow Dangerous Goods Requirements and Regulations
- Comply with Swissport Standard Operating Procedures and Policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Good command of the English language; both verbal and written
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English
- Must be able to work flexible working hours
- Ability to work under pressure
- Customer focus and quality awareness
- Must be able to work in inclement weather
