About the Role
Anthony Nolan is seeking a Clinical Scientist to provide specialist scientific expertise in the delivery and development of the Infectious Disease Screening service within a UKAS ISO 15189 accredited laboratory. This role is crucial in supporting stem cell donation and transplantation by performing and authorizing infectious disease and blood grouping investigations.
Responsibilities
- Perform and authorize infectious disease and blood grouping investigations.
- Support clinical interpretation of results.
- Contribute to service development and verification activities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.
- Collaborate with biomedical scientists, other clinical scientists, and senior laboratory staff to provide a high-quality diagnostic service.
