About the Role

Vialto is seeking a Tax Manager for its Private Clients team in the UK. This role involves working with high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and internationally mobile private clients on complex personal tax matters. The ideal candidate will have strong UK personal tax experience, particularly with cross-border issues, and be adept at managing client relationships and engagements.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of private clients, including high-net-worth individuals, internationally mobile employees, entrepreneurs, and family offices.
• Provide UK personal tax advice on residence and domicile, cross-border taxation, international mobility, income and capital gains tax planning, and remittance basis.
• Manage the delivery of UK personal tax compliance services, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timeliness.
• Support clients with tax planning for international moves, investments, succession planning, and changing personal circumstances.
• Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and high-standard client service.
• Collaborate with colleagues across tax and advisory teams to deliver integrated solutions for complex international client needs.
• Review work from junior team members and coach/develop colleagues.
• Contribute to business development initiatives, identifying opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
• Stay updated on evolving tax legislation and best practices, communicating relevant developments to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience in UK private client or personal tax, ideally within a professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK personal taxation and international/private client tax matters.
• Experience managing client relationships and delivering tax advisory and compliance work.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
