About the Role

The Operations Coordinator contributes to the commercial success of the boutique by upholding Soho compliance and achieving operational excellence. This role manages day-to-day processes, including administrative support for transactional activities, financial compliance, logistics, inventory control, and supports policy implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure understanding and execution of all Soho policies and procedures within the boutique.
  • Coordinate efficient opening and closing procedures.
  • Manage product movement in/out of the boutique, including shipments, transfers, and consignments, while maintaining quality control and preventing stock losses.
  • Demonstrate excellent care and proper product handling, following appropriate packing, shipping, and receiving procedures.
  • Monitor financial aspects of boutique sales, ensuring timely and accurate submission of daily transactions and paperwork.
  • Support transactional flows (e.g., e-commerce) for efficient business operations and seamless client experience.
  • Coordinate inventory control processes, including counts and stock movements, to ensure a successful annual inventory.
  • Uphold Cartier standards within the boutique environment, including maintenance, third-party vendors, tools, technology, and equipment.
  • Partner with client-facing teams to manage boutique supply inventory and replenishment needs for sales, hospitality, and back-of-house areas.
  • Manage the order process and support Lean/5S strategies for optimal storage organization.
  • Assist with care service responsibilities, including client repair flow and execution of reports.
  • Support boutique audits and partner with management to implement action plans.
  • Participate in daily set up and break down of the boutique for opening/closing.
  • Exhibit strong communication and problem-solving skills by partnering effectively with boutique management and peers.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.
  • Consistently reach and aim to exceed all KPIs.
  • Develop fundamental brand knowledge to convey Cartier heritage and values.
  • Remain current on industry news, local/global competition, and community connections.
  • Share and collaborate with region and network peers on operational best practices.
  • Uphold Cartier standards with an approachable and professional image.
  • Contribute to a positive and productive boutique environment by leveraging team savoir-faire.
  • Elevate operational excellence and ensure effective and efficient day-to-day processes.
  • Collaborate with management to provide ideas and solutions to client-facing teams.
  • Be open to taking on transversal duties to support the broader team.
  • Demonstrate Cartier competencies and behaviors, fostering transparency with colleagues and management.
  • Embrace and integrate diverse perspectives.
  • Be an active member of the network Operations community.

Requirements

  • Must be available to work retail hours, including weekends.
  • Must be available to travel for trainings as needed.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Frequent moving of packages and product.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy and precision.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to foster a united work environment with a “can do” attitude.
  • Intellectual curiosity and passion for learning.

Skills

  • Excellent computer skills and use of technology.
  • MS Office experience required.
  • SAP knowledge preferred.
  • Additional language skills are a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of client service needs and priorities (internal and external).

Salary/Compensations

  • $28-30/hr depending on prior experience.
