About the Role
This role supports the maintenance and administration of Workday and associated People systems, acting as first-line support for Workday queries and completing cyclical system administration tasks.
Responsibilities
- Support the maintenance and ongoing administration of Workday and associated People systems.
- Act as first-line support for Workday queries by operating the Workday specialist queue in ServiceNow.
- Complete cyclical system administration tasks, including position cleanses, data purges and EIB uploads.
- Perform routine data audits and support activities to maintain data quality and system integrity.
- Maintain process documentation, knowledge articles, training guides and standard operating procedures.
- Partner with internal IT teams to understand and manage downstream system impacts.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing and validation activities for system changes, enhancements and Workday releases.
Requirements
- A minimum of one year's experience supporting Workday with a good understanding of core HCM processes.
- Comfortable analysing and resolving system and process issues in a structured manner.
- Strong organisational skills, with experience in operating incident management tools.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple requests within agreed service levels.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
- Analytical approach to problem solving.
- Ability to work well within a global and sometimes virtual team.
- Understanding of HR data governance, confidentiality requirements and system administration best practices.
- Good stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to handle sensitive people data with discretion and in line with relevant governance requirements.
