About the Role
A family of four in the West Village seeks a dedicated executive housekeeper/laundress to maintain their high-end home. This role offers a stable, long-term opportunity with a kind and generous family.
Responsibilities
- Perform deep cleaning and daily tidying in collaboration with the existing housekeeper.
- Develop and maintain household organization systems.
- Handle daily laundry, including fine fabrics and linens, with regular ironing and use of a pressing machine.
- Conduct grocery shopping and run basic errands.
- Assist in the kitchen with basic food preparation, such as chopping vegetables.
- Provide service during events and parties.
- Assist with packing for travel.
Requirements
- Must have US work authorization.
- Experience in high-end homes, including handling fine furnishings and linens.
- Experience with household service and comfortable interacting with vendors and guests.
- Physically fit and able to maintain a 6800 square foot apartment.
