About the Role
Foster with West London (FwWL) is a joint fostering recruitment service created by eight London Boroughs. The vision is to increase the number of children living in West London with high-quality, supported foster carers, leading to improved long-term outcomes. The hub aims to attract suitable foster carers and enhance local placement choice. You will support the implementation of this vision by increasing fostering households through a targeted and joined-up approach, adhering to National Fostering Minimum Standards and Fostering Service Regulations.
Requirements
- Recognised Social work qualification (DipSW, CQSW, CSS or approved equivalent, BA Hons Social Work or other relevant degree in Social Work.
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Enhanced DBS Check

About the Company
- The London Boroughs of Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea, Westminster, Brent, Hillingdon, Harrow, Hounslow, and Ealing have created a joint fostering recruitment service: Foster with West London (FwWL).
- Foster with West London leads on the recruitment and assessment of foster carers on behalf of eight Local Authorities.
- The fostering recruitment hub (FwWL) is part of a Department for Education funded fostering recruitment and retention programme, operational since May 2024.
