About the Role

The Place Department is seeking a Building Safety Levy Officer to join the Infrastructure Delivery Team. This role supports the remediation of unsafe residential buildings through the Building Safety Act 2022. It offers an opportunity to manage and monitor progress on over £150m in planning contributions and to develop initiatives around the policy framework for development contributions. The position is a one-year fixed contract with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor progress on delivery of over £150m in planning contributions.
  • Take forward initiatives around the development and governance of the policy framework for development contributions.
  • Support the implementation of the policy framework for development contributions following adoption.

Requirements

  • Graduate with a Town Planning Degree or related field.
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic.

  • 145 King Street, Hammersmith, London, W6 9XY

Salary/Compensations

  • £43,308 - £45,852 per annum
