  • Evaluate promotional effectiveness by measuring incrementality and margin impact, recommending offer adjustments.
  • Own markdown analytics, modeling scenarios for depth and timing, and monitoring sell-through and margin recovery.
  • Build pricing models to quantify the P&L impact of pricing decisions.
  • Own the pricing reporting suite, designing, managing, and improving dashboards and performance reporting.
  • Own pricing data integrity by establishing and enforcing standards for data completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Drive automation efforts to reduce manual analysis and enable self-service reporting.
  • Lead complex ad hoc analysis, scoping, structuring, and delivering analyses with clear recommendations for leadership.
  • Govern price change execution, ensuring accuracy and control across systems and channels, and resolving exceptions.
  • Own pricing governance documentation, maintaining records of decisions, approvals, and change history.
  • Partner cross-functionally as the pricing analytics point of contact for Merchants, Merchandise Finance, and Marketing.
  • Guide junior analysts by setting methodology and QA standards and reviewing their work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 4–7 years of analytical experience, with demonstrated depth in retail pricing, merchandising, planning, or finance.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including scenario modeling, large dataset handling, and building tools.
  • Proficiency in SQL, including the ability to independently source, join, and validate data across systems.
  • Strong command of retail margin mechanics and the levers that drive gross margin performance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in ambiguous situations.
