About the Role

Piedmont Airlines is seeking a motivated and reliable Aircraft Maintenance Quality Assurance Auditor, Level 1, to join their Quality Assurance Department. This role performs auditing and analysis of internal and external vendors for the maintenance department and maintains the Coordinating Agency for Supplier Evaluation (C.A.S.E.) policies and procedures manual.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the objectives of the Quality Assurance Program are met
  • Develop and revise audits and procedures, ensuring compliance
  • Perform audits of internal and external vendors for compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Perform audits of repair and overhaul vendors, fuel vendors, and on-call maintenance providers
  • Perform C.A.S.E. audits and maintain the company’s sustaining membership status
  • Maintain C.A.S.E. Policies and Procedures Manual
  • Perform and coordinate the audit function of the Continuing Analysis Surveillance System (CASS)

Requirements

  • Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant Certificate, Repairman Certificate, or bachelor’s degree in liberal arts, education, or business
  • Two (2) years of leadership/management experience in maintenance technical operations
  • General knowledge of federal regulations regarding maintenance operations
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand and effectively explain documented procedures and processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, other computer-based programs, and computer file management skills
  • Flexibility to work and organize multiple assignments while meeting project deadlines
  • Three (3) years of Part 121 airline maintenance operations experience
  • Clear driving record
  • 10-year Criminal History Records Check
  • Drug screen as required
  • Proof of high school or GED completion
  • Minimum 18 years of age

Salary/Compensations

  • $73,447.00/Annual Salary - $107,700.00/Annual Salary
