About the Role
As the site-based leader at Marshall Middle School, the Program Manager will integrate CIS programming with school-wide activities to empower students, provide parent engagement, and support student success. This role involves managing CIS activities and programs to address academic and non-academic barriers for students and their families.
Responsibilities
- Conduct needs assessments to inform program design and resource identification.
- Maintain positive relationships with campus personnel and establish student referral processes.
- Implement data management systems for program evaluation and administrative efficiency.
- Coordinate hiring, onboarding, and training for team members.
- Develop professional development plans for team members.
- Provide ongoing supervision and conduct evaluations for team members.
- Communicate agency and school policies to the team and promote agency culture.
- Provide individual counseling, facilitate groups, and manage crises for students.
- Conduct outreach to parents and develop parental involvement strategies.
- Perform case management and participate in the CIS team approach to service delivery.
- Represent CIS at school and community meetings and events.
- Organize and coordinate school and community events.
- Host events for personnel, teachers, and parents.
- Communicate information and activities using appropriate avenues.
- Perform other activities and duties as directed by leadership.
Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, human services, or related field.
- Demonstrated English/Spanish speaking skills, highly preferred.
- Experience with crisis intervention, assessments, and referrals.
- Experience with group counseling and supportive guidance.
- Case management experience.
- Experience working with appropriate school-age youth and vulnerable populations.
- Experience working with parents/guardians and families.
- Experience providing individual supportive guidance and case management services.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive and productive relationships.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with CIS staff, school personnel, community partners, students, families, team members, and volunteers.
- Highly self-motivated and able to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
- Demonstrated ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on strength-based leadership.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Access to reliable transportation.
