About the Role
As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will provide safe and efficient service in both sales and service areas, delivering value to members. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets member expectations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests.
- Educate associates on tools, tasks, and resources.
- Mentor new technicians.
- Communicate and develop interpersonal skills for safe and efficient customer service.
- Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, and equipment operations.
- Utilize digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve service experience, and elevate associate engagement.
- Make immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, new product information, product application, and training.
- Adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
- Communicate equipment, tools, and supplies needs to the TBC Lead.
- Track and monitor returns and special orders.
- Operate cash registers and process transactions.
- Maintain accurate inventory.
- Audit safety and compliance standards.
- Report TBC complaints, safety hazards, and problems with products, services, and work areas.
- Complete paperwork, logs, and other required documentation.
- Ensure merchandise is packaged, labeled, and stored according to company policies.
- Identify member needs and assist with purchasing decisions.
- Resolve issues and concerns.
- Act as a brand advocate by valuing the member's experience in the TBC area.
- Model high-quality service and products.
- Develop, influence, and inspire others through respectful, supportive, and team-oriented work.
- Understand roadblocks and assist in training team members.

Requirements
- Valid state-issued driver's license.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Acknowledge that the position requires successful completion of all job-required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.

- Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
