About the Role
Operates the XPack Machine, ensuring safe and controlled start-up and operation, monitoring product quality, performing preventative maintenance, and recording production metrics.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safe, controlled start-up and operation of the XPack equipment including starting the machine, engaging the feed, and observing the operation of the area.
- Inspects and measures completed pieces to verify conformity to customer production standards.
- Monitors and adjusts controls to ensure product complies with production standards.
- Maintains equipment through completion of assigned preventative maintenance tasks and minor repair techniques as required.
- Records quality and production metrics via written communication methods and within time deadlines as necessary.
- Performs all work in a safety first mentality and with utilization of 5S skills.
- Related tasks as requested by supervisor
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Basic math skills.
- Basic computer knowledge, AS400, Word, Excel
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to a maximum of 40 lbs.
- Area requires use of hearing protection and eye protection.
