About the Role

This position provides oversight, direction, and coordination for all operations and maintenance (O&M) activities at an assigned jobsite to ensure adherence to contractual objectives. The role supervises and coordinates skilled trades workers in maintaining and repairing equipment, structures, utility systems, buildings, and grounds. This is a full-time position that requires assisting in emergencies and may involve 24/7 on-call response.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Operations & Maintenance Management administration functions.
  • Monitor management plans to accomplish contractual objectives.
  • Provide direction and support to subcontractors, support staff, trades, and crafts.
  • Schedule work to be performed.
  • Submit monthly progress reports.
  • Manage and commit contract resources.
  • Monitor budgets on assigned contracts.
  • Ensure safety of all personnel and compliance with environmental standards and quality of work.
  • Conduct staff training, safety meetings, and briefings.
  • Research and address customer and employee complaints.
  • Perform over the shoulder inspections.
  • Maintain a safe work environment.
  • Be on site during the Government’s regular working hours.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years in bedded inpatient healthcare maintenance and operations.
  • Minimum five years TJC experience.
  • Must have a minimum of five years of experience in comparable facility operations and maintenance.
  • Must have experience supervising a diversified workforce responsible for 24-hour operations, maintenance, and repair of comparable facility systems.
  • Must have formal training related to Life Safety Code standards.
  • Must have working experience with EPA and OSHA codes and standards.
  • Must have 5 years of experience with compliance documentation for O&M operations (e.g., DMLSS, DMLSS work requests, supporting testing, certification, and verification documentation).
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Experienced with computer programs including Microsoft Suite, CMMS & BAS.
  • Demonstrated capability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Action-oriented and able to handle multiple priorities.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
