About the Role
The CHS Expeditor ensures the smooth flow of corporate meal delivery operations by accurately packing orders and coordinating with the Logistics team for timely and pristine deliveries. This role supports the Culinary team with general kitchen duties to maintain a clean and efficient production environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Operations, Logistics, and Culinary teams to confirm delivery details, packaging standards, timing requirements, and any special client needs.
- Receive, check, and pack all outgoing orders with accuracy and care, ensuring items are complete, well organized, and presented to CHS standards.
- Read and interpret BEOs and production sheets confidently to ensure all components are included and properly prepared for dispatch.
- Assist the kitchen team with daily operational tasks, including cleaning, organizing, restocking, and basic prep as needed to support efficient service.
- Verify allergen information and labeling, ensuring all signage and identifiers sent out with deliveries are correct and compliant.
- Track and manage CHS internal equipment, ensuring items used for drop off catering are logged, returned, and maintained in good condition.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety and food handling regulations, promoting a clean, safe, and organized workspace at all times.
- Perform additional duties as required to support overall kitchen and delivery operations.

Requirements
- Experience in catering and hospitality preferred
- Ability to lift 20kg with ease
- Ability to work on your feet for 6+ hours
- Ability to take direction, multitask and work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Exceptional eye for detail, with no task being too small
- Ability to problem solve and adapt while maintain O&B standards
- High critical thinker with strong verbal communication skills
- Valid G Drivers License an asset
- Criminal check required
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
