About the Role
Gain exposure in functional areas, design, testing, and troubleshooting software applications, and setting up and implementing cloud-based software. Assist the IT Department in system changes and enhancements, provide technical support for operation improvements, document system changes, and train users. Review and test security policies, implement best practices, and update documentation and existing protocols.
Responsibilities
- Support existing applications and infrastructure by responding to incidents, problems, and service requests.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with employees of varying technical backgrounds to resolve IT requests.
- Test and help implement security policies and IT best-practice procedures and maintain up-to-date documentation.
- Support departmental internal controls and regulatory compliance efforts.
- Deliver a final presentation to Summit's management team summarizing experiences, results, and accomplishments from the internship.
Requirements
- Windows environment administration (Azure/Office 365, SharePoint, device and server admin, basic networking)
- Basic hardware and network troubleshooting
