About the Role
Wise is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join their Growth and Strategic Finance Team in London. This role is crucial for generating insights that drive better decisions for the company and its customers, contributing to Wise's mission of building the best way to move and manage the world's money.
Responsibilities
- Generate insights that lead to better decisions for the company and customers.
- Curate datasets, surface metrics, perform statistical modeling, and conduct deeper dive analysis.
- Understand drivers of company or regional growth.
- Analyze customer segments and cohorts and their contribution to growth.
- Tie customer acquisition and activity to marketing or product initiatives to measure financial return.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in similar roles.
- Mathematical or quantitative background.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Familiarity with Python/R.
- Strong analytical ability.
- Decent understanding of statistics and statistical modeling.
- Data visualization and storytelling ability.
- Ability to self-organize and manage stakeholders.
- Demonstration of impact or going above and beyond basic role requirements.
- Desirable: DBT.
- Desirable: Data modeling in a warehouse context.
- Desirable: Understanding of testing and experimental design.
- Legally authorized to work in the UK.
- Must have the right to work in the UK; Wise does not provide visa sponsorship.
