About the Role

The Director of Clinical Operations and Quality works under the guidance of the Chief Medical Officer to oversee, coordinate, and manage clinical operations across OASAS, OMH, and DOH clinical programs. This role acts as a key operational and clinical liaison, ensuring evidence-based, trauma-informed, person-centered services are delivered consistently across all residential and outpatient levels of care.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-based clinical programming across clinical programs under the CMO's guidance.
  • Develop and implement clinical programming and standards of care for various programs including OASAS residential and outpatient substance use treatment, OMH community residences, OMH PROS program, and OMH community mental health clinics.
  • Ensure clinical treatment teams utilize assigned clinical documentation, evidence-based practices, and clinical pathways aligned with organizational goals.
  • Organize and oversee regular multi-disciplinary case conferences, providing facilitation, guidance, and clinical expertise.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of targeted treatment teams at each program.
  • Oversee the development of clinical schedules for group programming and ensure adherence to schedules and evidence-based curriculum.
  • Provide onboarding and ongoing refresher training to clinical staff in evidence-based practices.
  • Participate in compliance adherence and audit preparation, assisting the CMO and compliance teams with data review and program outcome evaluation.
  • Collaborate with compliance leads to ensure internal and external compliance requirements are met.
  • Monitor clinical program fidelity, consistency, and standardization across sites.
  • Assist in collecting, analyzing, and reporting clinical outcome data and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with OASAS / OMH regulations and those of other relevant bodies.
  • Experience in SUD treatment and program development, implementation, and quality improvement.

  • $185,000.00 - $200,000.00
