About the Role

Our practice partners with North American Dental Group to deliver best-in-class patient care, focusing on empathy and transforming the dental experience. We seek individuals with the drive and passion to help others improve their oral health and pioneer a new culture of dentistry.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent chair-side clinical support and assistance to Doctors and Hygienists, including charting, operatory setup/cleanup, and patient education.
• Record and review patient health history, make chart entries under the doctor's direction, and ensure completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
• Review the daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
• Prepare patients, sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, maintain chain of asepsis, prepare materials, and assist dentists during dental procedures following OSHA guidelines.
• Expose and develop dental diagnostic radiographs.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including HIPAA guidelines, CPR, X-rays, and other required certifications and registrations.

Requirements

• Dental Assisting Certification or prior on-the-job training.
• 1-5 years of experience preferred; new graduates will be considered.
• Radiography/X-RAY certification for the respective state.
• CPR Certification required.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patients.
