About the Role

Responsibilities
- Provide excellent chair-side clinical support and assistance to Doctors and Hygienists, including charting, operatory setup/cleanup, and patient education.
- Record and review patient health history, make chart entries under the doctor's direction, and ensure completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
- Review the daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
- Prepare patients, sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, maintain chain of asepsis, prepare materials, and assist dentists during dental procedures following OSHA guidelines.
- Expose and develop dental diagnostic radiographs.
- Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including HIPAA guidelines, CPR, X-rays, and other required certifications and registrations.
Requirements
- Dental Assisting Certification or prior on-the-job training.
- 1-5 years of experience preferred; new graduates will be considered.
- Radiography/X-RAY certification for the respective state.
- CPR Certification required.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patients.
