About the Role

Canadian Blood Services is seeking a temporary full-time Associate Director - Integrated Business Management to join the Supply Chain division. This role strengthens Integrated Business Planning (IBP) capabilities, ensuring alignment between strategic priorities, operational plans, financial objectives, and organizational resources. You will serve as the Supply Chain process owner for IBP, leading efforts to enhance planning capabilities, governance, performance management, and decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

Strengthen planning processes, governance, performance management, and decision-making frameworks.
Facilitate and continuously improve planning forums and governance processes.
Establish new planning and alignment processes foundational to the organization's planning maturity.
Partner with stakeholders to drive integrated decision-making and organizational alignment.
Establish and strengthen planning frameworks, governance, and operating rhythms.
Bring together stakeholders from multiple functions to facilitate planning discussions, resolve competing priorities, and support balanced decision-making.
Connect strategic, operational, and financial planning activities.
Monitor performance, identify root causes of planning challenges, and provide actionable recommendations.
Guide planning forums and escalation processes.
Support modernization initiatives and continuous improvement efforts that enhance forecasting, visibility, and decision quality.

Requirements

Minimum of 40% on-site presence required, with potential for additional on-site work based on business needs.

Experience Level

5–10 years of progressive experience in Integrated Business Planning (IBP), supply chain planning, operations, strategy, finance, business transformation, or related disciplines.

Education Level

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
MBA or relevant professional certifications (APICS/ASCM, Oliver Wight) are considered assets.

Salary/Compensations

$132,300 - $155,600
