About the Role

Sportsnet is seeking Part Time NHL DAI Operators to manage and support live Ad insertion on NHL broadcasts for SN PLUS streaming services. This role is a 9-month contract with potential for extension, offering a chance to shape the future of sports media.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee technical setup and routing of live broadcast signals for NHL and other events.
  • Execute Ad triggers throughout each game broadcast.
  • Monitor signals to ensure they meet broadcast standards.
  • Collaborate with the Media Transmission team and Technical Support staff to troubleshoot on-air issues.
  • Liaise with the broadcast transmission team for game updates and DAI assignments.
  • Provide detailed technical reports after each game.
  • Adhere to all broadcast policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of broadcast operations.
  • Ability to react quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of NHL production formats is an asset.
  • A pre-employment background check will be conducted.
  • All candidates must clear a criminal background check.
  • A credit check and drivers abstract may be required depending on the role.
