About the Role

Play a key leadership role in driving the commercial finance agenda for Liberty Global’s Corporate entity. Lead the Commercial Finance team supporting corporate functional leaders to pursue cost-efficiency opportunities and explore avenues for commercializing services. Manage budgeting, forecasting, planning, and reporting for the Corporate entity, driving commercial initiatives, operational efficiency, and financial discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for all Corporate functions, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial results and insights.
  • Challenge stakeholders to explore cost reduction opportunities and revenue-generating avenues.
  • Develop critical KPI metrics to track functional performance with a focus on commercialization, efficiency, and cost discipline.
  • Perform detailed financial analysis, including variance, trend, and sensitivity analysis, translating findings into actionable insights.
  • Manage all external spend, including ownership of the consultancy request process, assessment, and sign-off before submission for approval.
  • Develop business case-backed transformation initiatives aligned with commercial finance objectives to streamline financial planning and reporting and drive efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with FP&A and other Finance teams to ensure alignment with broader finance transformation strategy and coordinate resources.
  • Act as Corporate Managed Service Agreements (MSAs) owner and key point of contact for customers and LG service providers.
  • Manage the implementation and in-life management of all LG Corporate MSAs.
  • Proactively identify potential revenue opportunities to implement new services with affiliate companies.
  • Develop monitoring and reporting frameworks to track in-life performance of existing and new corporate service agreements.
  • Develop performance dashboards for key corporate service agreements to facilitate customer service reviews and track service delivery performance against SLAs.
  • Develop and maintain revenue performance and reporting frameworks by service and customer.
  • Create and implement frameworks for contract revenue analysis and reporting by department, service line, and team.
  • Track contract expiration dates and proactively develop renewal strategies.
  • Build and maintain standard pricing models to optimize efficiency and profitability of services agreements.
  • Continuously refine MSA processes to maximize efficiency, profitability, and long-term value.
  • Act as Deputy to VP, Commercial Finance and key point of contact for CFO, Telecom and Services.
  • Act as a role model, demonstrating strong leadership, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Build and develop the commercial finance team, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Facilitate talent moves within the Commercial Finance team and wider finance function.

  • Track record of driving, project managing, and implementing transformational change programs.
  • Exceptional grasp of financials, forecasting, and forward planning, with ability to articulate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Skilled in managing and negotiating commercial contracts, including MSAs, with focus on governance, compliance, and value delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Analytical, pragmatic, and results-driven, with ability to work with senior leadership and across departments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in English (both verbal and written).
