About the Role
JM Transportation Solutions is seeking professional and enthusiastic Shuttle Drivers for an off-campus housing location servicing college campuses in Syracuse, NY. This role involves operating a shuttle bus over designated routes and transporting college-aged individuals, with a focus on providing safe, reliable, and customer service-oriented transportation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre/post trip vehicle inspections using electronic inspection software.
- Drive shuttle routes, picking up and dropping off passengers at established stops.
- Attend and participate in safety meetings.
- Clean the shuttle to maintain a professional appearance.
- Report required happenings to Dispatch in a timely manner.
- Fuel the bus and arrange for washes and preventative maintenance.
Requirements
- State-Required Commercial Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement.
- Current report of Driver Physical Examination.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the operation of assigned vehicles.
- Recently obtained 3-year MVR (Motor Vehicle Report).
- Clean driving record with no more than two (2) minor offenses in the past three (3) years.
- No DUI or DWI offenses.
- Must submit to a Criminal Background Check and a Pre-Employment Drug Screen.
