About the Role

The Technical Design Specialist serves as a liaison between business users and the IT department, guiding users with proprietary New Era software including ROAL, Job Tracker, and ROC. This role involves understanding and evaluating business requirements for product creation and interpreting them for software developers.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve systems issues impacting materials and/or orders processing using ROAL, ROC, and Job Tracker, in collaboration with IT and Master Data departments.
• Respond promptly to all email inquiries directed to ROAL, ROC, and Job Tracker support.
• Review and process daily ROAL material requests within 48 hours, ensuring compliance with legal, licensing, systematic, and production guidelines.
• Guide and assist business users with ROAL, ROC, and Job Tracker software.
• Assist with testing software enhancements or changes before launch and train end users.
• Provide expertise and participate in cross-functional projects related to ROAL, ROC, and Job Tracker.
• Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
