About the Role

We are seeking an Intermediate/Senior Noise Engineer to join our Atmospheric Services team, specializing in atmospheric and acoustic solutions for project compliance and community well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy and execution of high-value engineering solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal experts to deliver holistic solutions.
  • Manage acoustics, noise, and vibration projects for facilities, transportation, and Land Use Compatibility Assessments.
  • Provide technical support to junior staff, including monitoring, modeling, abatement strategies, and regulatory liaison.
  • Experiment with AI-enabled tools to advance design.
  • Proactively seek and cultivate new business opportunities aligned with sustainability goals.
  • Provide strategic leadership to strengthen client relationships and develop proposals.
  • Travel to other Dillon offices to support collaboration and growth.
  • Commit to self-development and ongoing professional learning.
  • Mentor junior staff in data science and digital project delivery methodologies.
  • Contribute to Dillon’s corporate profile through active participation in professional associations.

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice as a professional engineer or eligible for registration.
  • Degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Proven expertise in acoustics, noise, and vibration, typically developed through 10+ years of experience in consulting or related fields.
  • Demonstrated success in leading multidisciplinary project teams and driving business development.
  • Ability to work independently and provide solution-oriented consulting services.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills.
