About the Role

Join our Atmospheric Services team specializing in atmospheric and acoustic solutions that safeguard project compliance and community well-being. This is a new position offering flexible work hours and hybrid work arrangements.

Responsibilities

  • Support with air dispersion modelling and Emission Summary and Dispersion Modelling (ESDM) reports.
  • Assist with acoustics, noise, and vibration modelling and technical assessments.
  • Contribute to air quality and acoustic impact assessments for environmental projects and regulatory reporting.
  • Develop and implement environmental scopes of work and proposals.
  • Coordinate with laboratories, clients, subcontractors, and third-party stakeholders.
  • Compile and analyze data, and support environmental reports.
  • Assist in report writing and preparation of technical memos, letters, reports, spreadsheets, and figures.
  • Assist project managers and other team members.
  • Experiment with AI-enabled tools to push the boundaries of traditional design.
  • Comply with applicable health and safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Ability to work remotely if required.
  • Travel to other Dillon offices as needed to support collaboration, share knowledge, and drive growth across the firm.
  • Commit to self-development and ongoing learning and professional development.
  • Contribute to Dillon’s corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees.

Requirements

  • A degree in environmental engineering, or another relevant environmental science/engineering discipline.
  • 0-3 years of experience, with experience in environmental consulting being an asset.
  • Strong work ethic with willingness to conduct field work.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated abilities to work in multidisciplinary teams and independently.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office family of products.
