About the Role
Join our Atmospheric Services team specializing in atmospheric and acoustic solutions that safeguard project compliance and community well-being. This is a new position offering flexible work hours and hybrid work arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Support with air dispersion modelling and Emission Summary and Dispersion Modelling (ESDM) reports.
- Assist with acoustics, noise, and vibration modelling and technical assessments.
- Contribute to air quality and acoustic impact assessments for environmental projects and regulatory reporting.
- Develop and implement environmental scopes of work and proposals.
- Coordinate with laboratories, clients, subcontractors, and third-party stakeholders.
- Compile and analyze data, and support environmental reports.
- Assist in report writing and preparation of technical memos, letters, reports, spreadsheets, and figures.
- Assist project managers and other team members.
- Experiment with AI-enabled tools to push the boundaries of traditional design.
- Comply with applicable health and safety procedures and guidelines.
- Ability to work remotely if required.
- Travel to other Dillon offices as needed to support collaboration, share knowledge, and drive growth across the firm.
- Commit to self-development and ongoing learning and professional development.
- Contribute to Dillon’s corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees.
Requirements
- A degree in environmental engineering, or another relevant environmental science/engineering discipline.
- 0-3 years of experience, with experience in environmental consulting being an asset.
- Strong work ethic with willingness to conduct field work.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated abilities to work in multidisciplinary teams and independently.
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office family of products.
