About the Role

The Berlin Metropolitan School is seeking a dedicated educator to join the Co-Curricula Educational Program (CCEP) team, supporting children from three years old through 12th grade with an extended educational and recreational program.

Responsibilities

• Fostering child development into independent personalities within a community.
• Age-appropriately caring for children and adolescents, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and physical activity.
• Teaching societal values and norms, developing motor skills and body awareness, and promoting cognitive abilities.
• Developing and leading projects and activities for the after-school and holiday programs.

Requirements

• Completed training as a state-recognized educator, a degree in social pedagogy, or a comparable foreign qualification.
• Ideally, professional experience in care facilities and inclusion experience or a relevant educational background.
• Ideally, experience in program design and organization.
• Loving interaction with children, team spirit, flexibility, and openness to quality assurance matters.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Organizational skills and strong communication abilities.
• Excellent English and German language skills.
