About the Role
This position will maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize the plant’s HVAC, climate control, makeup air, and cooling systems to ensure reliable operation and uninterrupted manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial rooftop units and chillers.
- Monitor and maintain climate and ventilation controls throughout the facility.
- Perform recovery, evacuation, leak testing, and charging in full compliance with EPA Section 608 regulations.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team on general building maintenance and machine repair.
Requirements
- Active EPA Section 608 Universal Certification.
- State and local HVAC license preferred.
- Basic understanding of PLC controls.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial HVAC service and maintenance, including commercial RTUs.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting abilities (e.g., reading schematics, 480v 3-phase power, control circuits, VFDs).
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Previous experience with CNC grinding equipment is a plus.
