About the Role

The Senior Digital Brand Officer leads brand strategy, integrated marketing campaigns, digital media, content creation, public relations, and crisis communications. They oversee social media, digital assets, and website content while ensuring consistent brand expression and alignment with organizational mission, values, and communication goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead FoR’s brand, digital marketing, and social media strategy, ensuring a consistent and engaging presence across channels.
  • Develop inclusive, youth-centred content and storytelling that reflects 2SLGBTQIA+ experiences and advances organizational goals.
  • Plan and execute integrated marketing, fundraising, and awareness campaigns that drive engagement, growth, and donations.
  • Create and oversee high-quality digital content and creative assets aligned with FoR’s brand.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, media, influencers, community partners, and vendors to amplify FoR’s reach and impact.
  • Use analytics, audience insights, and emerging trends to measure performance and continuously improve digital strategies.
  • Support public relations, media opportunities, and crisis communications, ensuring timely and brand-aligned messaging.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, digital media, PR, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in digital marketing, communications, social media, and integrated campaign development.
  • Strong writing, storytelling, editing, and content creation skills for diverse audiences.
  • Experience building brand consistency and creating inclusive, youth-centred content reflecting 2SLGBTQIA+ voices and experiences.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal teams, media, influencers, vendors, and community partners.
  • Proficiency with digital, social media, website, content, and analytics tools; knowledge of SEO, email marketing, and digital advertising is an asset.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Must provide a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
  • Must reside in Ontario.
  • Must be willing to work onsite in downtown Toronto on a hybrid schedule.
  • Must have flexibility to work evenings and weekends occasionally as required.
  • Travel to various community-based settings as needed.
