About the Role
The University of Law Business School seeks two Lecturer/Senior Lecturer positions at its Moorgate Campus. These roles are permanent and focus on delivering postgraduate and undergraduate BSc courses. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in Marketing, AI, Business Analytics, Data, Harvard Case Method, and online simulations.
Responsibilities
- Providing tuition across the University of Law Business School course portfolio, including delivering postgraduate and undergraduate BSc courses.
- Teaching and assessing across the course portfolio in assigned subjects, including written and presentation skills, and providing individual feedback.
- Assisting in the preparation of assignments and assessments.
- Participating in course design and review.
- Acting as an academic coach to students, discussing problems, performance, and academic progression.
- Marking in-course assignments and final assessments.
- Supporting students and dealing with queries.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent in a relevant subject (Lecturer).
- Fellowship of Advance HE (HEA) or equivalent or willingness to work towards (Lecturer).
- Relevant teaching qualification or willingness to work towards PGCHE (Lecturer).
- Sufficient breadth and depth of professional experience in the relevant discipline to develop teaching programmes and learning support.
- Master’s degree (in Business and/or Management) or professional qualifications (Senior Lecturer).
- Fellowship of the HEA and Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PgCHE) as well as extensive relevant experience (Senior Lecturer).
- Teaching in a Higher Education setting or an educational establishment (Senior Lecturer).
- Significant expertise in application and practical delivery of a range of teaching techniques, pastoral care, mentoring colleagues, assessments and marking, team leadership (Senior Lecturer).
