About the Role
We are looking for a curious, adaptive, and data-focused Finance Data Manager to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team. This role is focused on data analysis and AI, translating complex financial and operational datasets into clear commercial insights and leveraging AI to build scalable data tools.
Responsibilities
- Translating financial and commercial requirements into scalable data assets.
- Collaborating with analytics engineers to improve core data pipelines.
- Building downstream reporting functionality.
- Preparing management information.
- Delivering actionable insights.
- Building data solutions to help business partners achieve their goals.
- Automating financial reporting processes.
- Proactively spotting opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiencies.
- Working independently, taking the initiative, and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Solid grounding in SQL and preferably Python.
- Experience using generative AI to produce data assets.
- Analytical and detail-oriented with experience with financial statements.
- Commercially minded, able to put complex numbers into clear business perspectives.
- Delight in automating processes through code and AI.
- Ability to build clean queries and robust data pipelines.
- Thrive in a dynamic, changing environment.
- Able to navigate through ambiguity and uncertainty.
- Great communication skills and a reliable team player.
