About the Role
As the Director of Corporate Marketing at Canoe Intelligence, you will be responsible for the global brand identity and lead the market's voice strategy. This role elevates Canoe's presence by overseeing content, global media relations, and brand integrity, requiring strategic leadership and execution to define the global narrative and ensure excellence across all communications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the overarching roadmap for content strategy to position Canoe as a thought leader.
- Partner with Sales, Relationship Management (RM), and Business Development to gather market insights and address client pain points.
- Architect a strategy for capturing and promoting high-impact client and partner stories through case studies, webinars, and co-branded content.
- Guide media strategy by managing two PR agencies (US and London) and serving as the primary contact for external communications.
- Act as the final authority for brand applications across all channels to ensure visual and verbal consistency.
- Manage corporate social presence and lead the internal advocacy program.
- Optimize third-party vendor profiles for accurate and compelling market-facing data.
- Collaborate with Directors of GTM, Product Marketing, and EMEA Marketing to provide content and creative direction for global pipeline.
- Leverage AI tools to scale content production, sentiment analysis, and brand monitoring.
- Manage a specialized roster of external talent, including PR agencies, graphic design consultants, and freelance content writers.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8+ years of marketing experience within Alternative Investments, FinTech, or Financial Services.
- Understanding of the complexity of private markets and audience nuances.
- Proven track record of moving from high-level brand strategy to tactical delivery.
- Experience collaborating with revenue-facing teams to translate technical product value into compelling stories.
- Proven ability to interview clients and partners to extract and articulate value-driven narratives.
- Experience managing external agencies and building relationships with financial and tech trade publications.
- A keen eye for design and mastery of copywriting and editing.
- Practical experience using AI for research, content drafting, or workflow automation.
- Ability to influence and partner with peer Directors to ensure global brand alignment.
