About the Role
We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join the Private Cloud Compute (PCC) team. This role is responsible for the availability and automation of critical systems and services that enable cloud intelligence while preserving user privacy. You will contribute to shaping the future of building and running services globally, impacting millions of customers.
Responsibilities
- Operate services at Apple scale with a high degree of operational excellence.

- Eliminate repetitive manual processes using automation.
- Improve processes through repeated iteration.
Requirements
- Strong sense of ownership, customer service, and integrity proven through clear communication.
- 4+ years of experience managing and scaling distributed systems in a public, private, or hybrid cloud environment.
- Strong experience deploying, supporting, and supervising new and existing services, platforms, and application stacks.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with scale testing, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.
- Confirmed ability to write programs using a high-level programming language (e.g., Java, Go, Python, Perl).
- Proclivity towards efficient programming emphasizing improvement via complexity analysis.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Nginx, Envoy, Prometheus, and/or Docker.
