About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Production/Purchasing Associate to support the planning, purchasing, and production of millwork, interior doors, and molding products, ensuring materials, inventory, and vendor relationships are effectively managed.
Responsibilities
- Support the purchasing, planning, and production of custom millwork, interior doors, and molding products within our manufacturing facility.
- Procure raw materials, components, and finished goods to meet production schedules and inventory requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory and production reports.
- Coordinate with vendors on pricing, lead times, product availability, and delivery schedules.
- Issue and track purchase orders to ensure materials are received on time and production remains on schedule.
- Partner with manufacturing teams to support efficient workflow, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build strong vendor relationships while identifying cost-saving and process improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret specifications, contracts, and construction documents.
- Knowledge of doors, millwork products, and related building materials.
