About the Role

The Senior Java Developer will play a key role in the strategic replacement of a legacy clearing platform by designing, developing, and delivering robust, scalable interfaces and integration services using modern cloud-native architecture principles. The role is responsible for building high-performance Java-based microservices that enable secure, resilient, and efficient data exchange across critical clearing and post-trade systems.

Requirements

• 5 years of Full Stack Engineering experience.
• 5 years of React or React Native development.
• 5 years of Java development experience.
• Expertise in Spring Boot framework.
• Experience with RESTful API design, development, and integration.
• Experience with Microservices architecture and implementation.
• Experience with SQL and database technologies.
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD).
• Experience with Unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices.
• Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Experience with Open API Specification (OAS) YAML.
• Cloud engineering experience (AWS preferred).
• Knowledge of secure coding and application security best practices.
• Knowledge of DevOps and Continuous Delivery methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Strong client-facing communication skills.
