About the Role
Assists in the supervision of credit trainers and hourly representatives who support new team member training. Designs, delivers, and oversees training for the Credit management team and new team members, including collectors, customer service representatives, and authorizers across five production business units.
Responsibilities
- Supervises and facilitates ad hoc task forces and focus groups within the credit department.
- Designs, delivers, and oversees training for the Credit management team.
- Designs, delivers, and oversees technical and job-related training for new team members.
- Coaches and develops trainers and associates who assist in training delivery.
- Designs and delivers department-specific training programs to positively impact revenue, cash flow, and customer service.
- Develops, conducts, and evaluates new team member training for credit production employees.
- Conducts and analyzes needs assessments for non-exempt production employees within credit.
- Establishes performance benchmarks and measures performance post-training.
- Maintains connection to production departments by performing the work of non-exempt production employees.
- Maintains currency in new training and performance improvement trends and technology.
- Assists the Training Manager and Director in special projects.
- Manages trainers' performance and hourly employees assisting in training.
- Identifies performance gaps for non-exempt credit production employees.
- Develops technical and job-related training interventions with measurable impact.
- Facilitates training interventions credibly.
Requirements
- Cross-trained in a minimum of two sub credit departments.
- Demonstrates an impact to revenue protection, expense control, and employee satisfaction.
- Ensures delivery of Customer First service through appropriate training, communication, and job knowledge.
